Know of the Cagayan Church Excavated in the Philippines?

ernestevasco asked:

I glimpsed a feature yesterday on an ancient church that was recently unearthed in the Philippines, in Cagayan I believe. I’m trying to research on it, but none of my keywords are turning anything useful. Can anyone point me to the right direction?
I think Cagayan De Oro, I’ve tried Googling for the news article already and nothing has come up. I saw it on TV btw :)

Which Cagayan? Cagayan Valley is found in Luzon, Cagayan de Oro is in the opposite side of the archipelago. Maybe the newspapers like Manila Bulletin, Philippines Star, or Philippine Daily Inquirer have the story.

I don’t really know their websites but plugging in their names in web search might help. These are the sites board exam takers go to so their address is in the net.
