While Analytics presents the origins and keywords really employed to click to your website, Google Webmaster tools too shows the germane top keywords along with your search place even if they didn’t result in any visitor clicks (statistics tab -> query stats). For instance, although my website is about a B&B in the Cotswolds I can pick up I am placing an average spot 9 in Google for the search “highest point on the cotswold way”. The other thing I do is in all probability bordering on loco but each time I get near a computer I launch a search engine and issue a search employing my desired keywords. I then discover my website in the final results and click on it. I’m sure this makes the search engines think my website is the pertinent spot to go employing these keywords and as such improves my results spot.

I really think a good link building campaign is really important for the optimisation of your website. Infact I rekon that a good link building campaign is a lot more important for your rankings than optimize your site itself…..
